What information does the Wedding Library gather and how do we use it?
When you register as a member of the Wedding Library, we ask you for your name, contact information, preferences, and certain demographic information. This information lets us provide personalized services and communicate separately with you. We also use aggregated information about the use of our services to evaluate our users' preferences, improve our programming, and facilitate third-party reporting of internet usage.
Visitors of the Wedding Library may be asked for their name and email address to use some Services. These information are used primarily, and for the sole purpose of authentication. Who has access to my information?
We do not share personally identifiable data with other companies, except as necessary to fulfill a transaction you have requested, or unless you otherwise give us permission to do so. The Wedding Library may also share such information in response to legal process, such as a court order or subpoena.
Who has access to information I post in my Wedding Website?
Your Wedding Website has several configurable options to restrict access to your information, including the Guestbook, and the website itself. These options can only be modified by logging in with your username and password. Information you post in your website, including, but not limited to text and photos, will not be used for any other part of this website. These information shall remain in your sole ownership. The Wedding Library, limited to its staff members, may however, check the information posted in your website (bypassing authentication), for any content in violation of our Terms of Use. the Wedding Library reserves the right to remove any material found to be in such violation.
What about other companies featured on the Wedding Library?
You may separately agree to provide your information to other companies who provide content for various parts of our Service, in order to use their services, order their products, or receive offers from them. If you agree to provide information to these companies, that information will be subject to their privacy policies.
